What is IPC?
IPC here I would like to mention is Inter Processor Communication.
In current world the Many Application Processors uses more than one Processor to perform the given job in a more efficient way. That may be running a MP3 application, showing a HD video on Mobile Phone. Usually High Level Operating Systems like Linux, WinCE, Symbian running on the Main processor, usually called Master Processor. Some proprietary Operating systems or HLOS run on the Slave processor. The communication between the Main Processor and Slave Processor is well known as IPC, Inter Processor Communication.
